A mother, wife, philanthropist, mentor, coach, chef proprietor and owner at Jag’s Steak & Seafood/Piano Bar in West Chester, OH. Cincinnati-born and raised, Michelle has defined and built Jag’s reputation as one of the region’s premier dining and entertainment venues menu since 2003. She became majority owner in 2015.
Michelle began her career as a valet at the Bankers Club and fell in love with the kitchen environment and cuisine. Executive Chef John York took her under his wing and mentored her growth as a chef and leader.
Giving back to the community defines Michelle. She actively mentors kitchen and service teams – especially women working their way through culinary school. She donates significant talent, time and resources to charities like Taste of the NFL, 1 Night 12 Kitchens, the West Chester Community Foundation and many others.
Michelle has cooked at the James Beard House in New York City, serves as a brand ambassador for Certified Angus Beef, and was the unanimous winner of the 2015 Cincinnati Food + Wine Classic Pork Chopped competition.
Michelle lives in Liberty Township with her husband and two children.
